Simple Bread Sandwich

This is a very simple bread sandwich that I love. It has very few ingredients but when done well, it tastes excellent. And it is this kind of comfort food that I do best. So here goes.

Ingredients (makes 2 sandwiches)

Tomatoes – 2

Bread slices – 4

Onions – 1 small size (optional)

Spicy tomato ketchup (I use Maggi Hot n Sweet, you can use any kind you like)

Amul cheese slice (or any cheese you like) – 1 slice (optional)

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Butter

Tools

Pan to toast the bread

How to

IMG_4006Finely chop the tomatoes and onions. Cut off the crust of the bread (you can keep it if you like it). Toast the bread with butter. Once the breads are slight brown, arrange the tomatoes and onions on top. Dribble the ketchup on top and sprinkle salt and pepper on top. Sprinkle the cheese and arrange the other bread on top and slice it in two.  That’s it! Gobble it up!!!
